While Detroit and New York grab the auto show headlines in the United States, the world's eyes this week focus on Beijing. Booming car sales in China hit 13.64 million in 2009, overtaking the United States, as increasingly well-off Chinese consumers continued to snap up cars, helped by government incentives such as lower taxes.
