DENVER – Authorities are investigating the death of a young woman whose body was found in a Denver home Sunday morning.

According to Denver Fire Lieutenant Phil Champagne, the woman had been living in the home on the 2600 block of North Pontiac without electricity and had set up a generator.

The carbon monoxide readings were said to be over six times the safe limit when fire crews entered the residence.

The area is still considered highly toxic. The incident remains under investigation.
